Having spent a decade doing designs and contruction drawings for complex landscape architectural projects on the computer , I gradually developed a taste for working in 3D.

A native species 3D Planting plan that really was helpful in explaining the massing, textures and views.

Here's a simple little 3D CAD model with a photo overlay that gives an idea of how I work. This isn't too tricky, it's just common sense economy of linework, and allows creating multiple views with a realistic scale and proportion.
