I was out taking pictures of this ‘Abandoned Planet Bookstore‘ sign in the Mission district
and this guy just smiled like he wanted me to take his picture so I took his picture
and he liked that. He’s working a shopping cart, collecting bottles for recycling money with
a fresh pair of surgical gloves on. There is a bagel shop around the corner with a wall
covered in 12x12 framed closeup portraits of all these characters in the neighborhood.

comment: ha ha, with this wide lens I had the camera about 18-inches from his face and he was loving it -paul
comment: Glad to see you are still enjoying yourself with a camera. Keep it coming. I'd love it if I could get notification of new content somehow. It's tough to tell here where the recent posts are being made, or am I missing something?

The fist few shots are in the Mission, the rest are in the Haight. All are shot with the Sigma 12-24 super wide angle lens.
