Chili
Roughly based on the packaged 2-alarm chili recipe:

an onion, some garlic
1 lb meat or 2 lbs without beans
1-1/2 tsp each paprika & cayenne,1/2 cup chili powder
3 tsp cumin & such
8-oz small can tomato sauce
2 cups water or broth
simmer for half an hour or more

then add 4-1/2 tsp masa corn flour blended with 1/4 c warm water, simmer for another 15 min, add beans (use 1 cup less water above if with 1 can beans & juice).

Pulled Chicken
marinate 3 split breasts overnight in salsa
bake at 250 for 2-1/2 hours covered in foil on heavy pan, cool & shred the tender meat.
make broth from the bones, use that to make rice.
