Extended about half way out, the 'leather' bellows is super-glued to the bottom of the lens and sewn to pleat evenly then glued between a silver ring from the original lens and an old 52mm filter with the glass knocked out. The filter then screws into a $5 BR-2 reversing ring macro adapter for mounting to the camera. The metal behind the black labeled rim has a beautiful blued finish. The aperture can be adjusted with the small tab visible in the center near the leather.
